Artistic Director & Owner of Main Street Dance Studios

Kristi Vance is the dedicated Artistic Director and proud owner of Main Street Dance Studios, where she has been a guiding force for 34 years. With a passion for dance and a commitment to excellence, Kristi has also served as a coach for the past 24 years, inspiring countless students to reach their full potential both on and off the stage.

Currently, Kristi is expanding her expertise as a graduate student at Grand View University, pursuing a degree in the Mental Health Counseling program. This academic journey reflects her deep belief in the power of mindfulness, positivity, and empowerment—values she brings into every class, rehearsal, and interaction with her students.

Kristi also champions the therapeutic power of movement in dance. She recognizes that dance is a form of expression that not only strengthens the body, but also helps to heal the mind and spirit. Through intentional movement, students can release stress, cultivate emotional awareness, and find joy and balance in their lives. Kristi’s commitment to this holistic approach demonstrates her belief in the profound connection between mental health and the art of dance.

Kristi’s leadership at Main Street Dance Studios is rooted in her dedication to fostering a supportive and uplifting environment. She believes that dance is not just about movement, but about nurturing confidence, self-expression, and a sense of community. Through her teaching, coaching, and ongoing education, Kristi continues to inspire and empower the next generation of dancers and leaders.
